Has the wreath on your door from last spring/summer faded?  Looking for a replacement, but really like the one you have?  Nesting By Robin has the answer.  Below there are two pictures that are very similar.  The difference, the one pictured on the left was made last summer and had faded. The customer still loved the little owl.  The solution, I was able to salvage the owl, wreath frame and the blue burlap mesh.  Added three different color mesh with the blue and changed the ribbon color.  The second picture on the right is the result.  Refreshed for the summer!

Here in North Carolina, Spring comes earlier than most of the states.  Our backyard is full of song birds and new growth in the flower beds are beginning to sprout.  One shrub has a nest where a new family of Mockingbirds will be coming.  Spring, a time of new beginnings and new birth.  A time when we remember and reflect on the death of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

This morning is beautiful and surreal.  As I watch the activity outside the window, I can’t believe the symbolism of Springtime with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus for our sins.  Through the four seasons our heavenly Father allows us to actively live out His son’s life.  I am so humbled and filled with peace.  All praise to God for this magical site.

Good intentions were definitely in my sight to have new products posted by now for Easter and Spring.  The same good intentions when I assisted a disabled neighbor with her runaway pup.  At the moment that I was going to release the care of this very big, energetic nine month old beagle/pit bull to her owner, she bolted and took me down to my knees.  Along with the shocking fall, my hand was twisted and caught in her collar.  To my duress and pain, two of my fingers were hyper-extended.  I have been dealing with a very swollen and barely movable hand that I need in order to complete my various works in progress (WIP).

Please be patient with me as I slowly finish the products I am excited to share with you on this blog.

There’s only four more weeks of winter left, (hopefully).  Though many of us are still battling snow and ice, this is a season of preparation for Spring.  A time to plan and revamp the house with a lighter color pallet. Adding a few new accessories to brighten the wardrobe. There are so many beautiful colors available.  FUN!!! 

Admission:  I have been in my glory meeting new customers and catching up with current ones.  Orders are coming in and it’s been busy.  Loving this season!  However, it has put me a little behind with staying in touch with you.  My sincere apologies. The good news, I have been working on Ready To Sell, (RTS) items.  There will be Easter and Spring wreaths, Baby’s First Easter Basket, Spring hats, home decor items plus a few surprises.  Although I enjoy creating RTS items, Nesting By Robin is an order-based company.  Designing and creating products that reflect our customer’s unique personality is truly the desire.

Love is the greatest gift.  It comes in so many different types of packages.  It’s that all knowing smile from someone who understands the challenge you’re going through.  It’s the child who curls onto a lap and gently falls asleep.  It’s the arms that encircles to give comfort and support.  It’s the warm grip of a hand that walks along through fear.  It’s in all types of relationships.  It’s hugs, kisses and soft touches.  Valentine’s Day is a wonderful holiday to express love, however not just for lovers.
